On the occasion of the completion of eleven years since the enthronement of the Pontiff, Pope Francis, the Apostolic Nuncio H.E. Archbishop Julio Murat and H.E. Anders Arborelius, Cardinal and Bishop of Stockholm, invited H.E. Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia, to attend a Thanksgiving Mass, held in the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Erik, Stockholm, on the evening of Thursday, May 30, 2024.
The Metropolitan responded positively to the above invitation and to the reception that followed on the Cathedral premises, accompanied by Mr. & Mrs. Benedict Svedberg.
In his speech, the Nuncio thanked the Archpastor of the Nordic Lands for his honorable presence, having already attended the archieratical concelebration, held at the St. George Cathedral of Stockholm, on Sunday, May 26, 2024, marking the tenth anniversary of assuming the archpastoral duties of the Metropolitan, to whom he offered a bishop’s medallion as a gift.
