At noon on Friday, November 4, 2022, His Eminence Metropolitan Cleopas of Sweden and All Scandinavia, accompanied by the pastor of the St. George Cathedral of Stockholm, the V. Rev. Archimandrite Bartholomew Iatridis, went to the Hermitage of St. Nicholas in Rättvik, Sweden, where they performed a Trisagion service, in memory of the blessed Archimandrite Eusebius Vittis, since on November 4, 2009, the Elder fell asleep in the Lord.
It should also be mentioned that on the previous Sunday, October 30, at the initiative of His Eminence, before the OXI Day National celebration, a memorial service was conducted on the occasion of the thirteenth anniversary of the blessed passing of Elder Eusebius Vittis, who worked as a missionary in Scandinavia and left indelible traces of his ministry, his dedicated service, his sermons and writings.
